Essential box recipe: Green smoothie

 With everyone in lockdown and a rise in home workouts and fitness, it's important to restore and nourish your body with much-needed greens and superfoods! So try out our delicious green smoothie using items from the Lunch is Ready Essential food box after your next workout!

1 cup of fresh fruit (You could choose banana, mixed berries, tropical fruits)
1 cup of fresh greens (spinach, kale, or arugula)
1/2 – 1 cup milk (almond, soy, coconut, cows, etc.)
1/2 tablespoon ground seeds (flax, chia, etc.)
Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Starting with 1/2 cup of milk and add more from there depending on how thick you like your smoothies.
